Support Counseling Professionals
Working with prospective college students, whether inside the school system, as an independent education consultant, or as a community based organization, is challenging and rewarding. NACAC provides a number of helpful tools to assist our members in this field.
Advocacy
As the voice of the college admission counseling profession, NACAC advocates for the best interests of students and members. The members of NACAC support students in the college transition process from secondary school to postsecondary education and in the transfer process between postsecondary institutions.

NACAC’s Guide to Ethical Practice in College Admission reflects the association’s long-standing commitment to principled conduct among professionals who support students in the college transition process from secondary school to postsecondary education and in the transfer process between postsecondary institutions.
