Join us for the NACAC HBCU Advance — a unique professional development experience designed to deepen your understanding of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and enhance your ability to support students in accessing these vital institutions. This interactive program brings together college admission professionals, high school counselors, CBO advisors, and educational leaders to explore the rich legacy, admissions processes, and student experiences at HBCUs.

Through dynamic sessions, expert panels, and collaborative discussions, participants will gain valuable insights, build networks, and walk away with actionable strategies to better guide students toward success at HBCUs.

Project / Program Goals

  1. Identify unique institutional advantages and challenges specific to HBCU admission offices.
  2. Identify opportunities and successful practices employed by HBCU admission offices.
  3. Identify ways in which institutions can effectively support HBCU admission offices.
  4. Our event is designed to provide unique opportunities for professional learning and networking among HBCU Advance attendees.
