Individual Membership
Professionals on both sides of the desk receive the full array of NACAC benefits as individual members. Independent educational consultants, professionals at community-based organizations, and retired professionals are also eligible for this membership category. Individual members are able to take advantage of all NACAC benefits.
Postsecondary Individual Memberships – $235
Postsecondary members are professionals employed by colleges/universities whose primary work includes assisting students as they transition from secondary to postsecondary or between postsecondary institutions. These individuals must be employed by accredited, not-for-profit institutions. Those who fall within this category are able to join NACAC though an institutional membership whereby multiple staff members employed by the same college/university can benefit from membership or can opt for an individual membership that supports just one person.

Community Based Organization (CBO) and College Access Organization members are professionals employed by a CBO or College Access organization that provides counseling, admission, or financial aid services to students at the state or local level. Those who fall within this category are able to join NACAC though an institutional membership whereby multiple staff members employed by the same organization can benefit from membership or can opt for an individual membership that supports just one person.

Independent Educational Consultant (IEC) members are professionals that provide college admission counseling or financial aid services to students on a fee-for-service basis. Those who fall within this category are able to join NACAC though an individual membership. Retired members are individuals who were once employed in admission, counseling, or financial aid but are currently enjoying retirement. NACAC is delighted that so many individuals choose to continue their involvement with NACAC and remain connected to the field by taking advantage of a retired membership! We offer an individual membership that supports just one person for retired memberships.
