For over 50 years, NACAC National College Fairs have been a critical resource for students seeking a postsecondary education. In 2023, more than 100,000 students from over 10,000 high schools attended our fairs, offered both virtually and in person. These fairs connect students with colleges and universities worldwide, helping them explore their educational options. 

Your support can help us expand the reach and impact of our college fairs in several ways: 

• Increase the number of fairs: Your donations can enable us to organize more fairs, providing more opportunities for students to explore their college options. 

• Reach underserved locations: Funding can help us bring fairs to traditionally underserved areas, ensuring that all students have access to these valuable resources. 

• Grow specialized programs: With your help, we can expand our STEM and career fairs across the country, offering students a broader range of opportunities and information.

At NACAC, inclusion is not just a guiding principle; it is central to our strategic priorities. Our initiatives focus on connecting and supporting marginalized students and college admission counseling professionals, ensuring that everyone has access to the resources and opportunities they need to succeed.

• Enhance current programming: Initiatives like HBCU Advance, the annual Guiding the Way to Inclusion (GWI) conference, and Elevate Equity convenings.

Guided by our report, Toward a More Equitable Future for Postsecondary Access, NACAC is working to re-envision outdated practices within college admission. 

To continue this critical work, we are establishing a center for reimagining college access. This center will focus on redesigning outdated, inequitable admission structures, developing research-based insights, and cultivating innovative practices. Our goal is to ensure equity is a primary outcome in the college admission process. 

The center’s core functions will include: 

• Research and evaluation: Assessing promising admission practices and generating new insights 

• Convenings and discussions: Bringing together practitioners to explore innovative practices and address implementation challenges 

• Educational services: Disseminating innovative practices across the profession
