Compliance
Institutions registering to exhibit at any National College Fair programs agree to have a representative from the institution at the table during the scheduled hours of the fair. This representative must be there on time and agree to abide by the policies outlined by NACACâs Guide to Ethical Practice in College Admission. Exhibitors also agree to abide by the exhibitor guidelines for the National College Fair program for which they are registered.
NACAC reserves the right to refuse the registration of any institution that does not comply with the stated guidelines of each program.
Cancellations and Refunds
Please visit our Cancellations and Refunds webpage to view specifics regarding refund timelines and cancellation processes.
Membership
Member prices are not retroactive for institutions that join NACAC after completing a National College Fairs Booth Registration Agreement. Separate university programs from a member institution may participate in the National College Fairs at the member price provided that each program is identified as a part of the parent institution. Programs that are identified separately in the Higher Education Directory must purchase a separate membership to receive the member price. Learn more about becoming a member.
College and University Associations / Consortiums
College and university associations / consortiums that are interested in exhibiting at the National College Fair programs are allowed to participate at a purchased booth provided at least ten percent (10%) of the organizationâs members are also participating at the same college fair.
Consortium representatives that are exhibiting are asked to provide only general information about the variety of schools available to students that are part of the organization.
Specific questions about admissions criteria or standards for Verto partner colleges should be referred directly to admissions staff members at each school.
The exhibiting association / consortium must provide the NACAC National College Fairs office with a full list of its current members at the time of registration. Registration will be finalized when the organization demonstrates, and NACAC confirms that at least 10% of its members have registered for the particular fair that the association / consortium is planning to attend.
The fee for consortiums to exhibit at NACAC National College Fairs is the non-member rate and the consortium may will placed in a standard exhibit booth.
Third-Party Providers
NACAC has authorized certain third-party vendors to provide registered exhibitors with certain information and services:
Lead Retrieval
Lead retrieval services are provided by GoToCollegeFairs (GTCF). The contact information of registered exhibitors of National College Fair programs will be shared with GTCF in order to ensure proper delivery of their leads collected at the National College Fair program. To access your leads the individual designated as the âLead Contactâ will need to login to the new GoToCollegeFairs.com portal. The leads contact will be the person who registered for the fair. If this individual is no longer with your institution or if all leads should be accessed by someone else other than the individual who registered, you may reach out to our customer service at customerservice@nacacnet.org to make the change. Only one person can have access to leads for a specific event.
If the leads contact has not logged into the new portal they can set up an account by clicking on the “colleges register here” link. Please make sure to use the âleads emailâ provided to NACAC.
Once registered they will be automatically placed into the leads portal. Then every time they come back to this login page, use the âleads emailâ and the password they created to get back into that secure portal. All of the leads for NACAC fairs can be accessed here.
For additional information, please reference the Accessing Your Student Lead Data help article.
General Service Contractors (Decorators)
At National College Fairs, NACAC contracts General Service Contractors to provide the decorating services. This includes the setting/dismantling of exhibitor booths within the leased exhibit space. The contact information of registered exhibitors is shared with decorators so that they may contact them regarding the purchase of products or services outside the standard booth package (i.e., carpeting, electricity, custom displays, etc.). Registered exhibitors are not required to purchase additional products or services from the decorator. The standard booth package (included with your registration as a registered exhibitor) for National College Fairs includes one standard 6â skirted table, 2 chairs, a wastebasket and a hanging booth sign that includes your institutionâs name, city, state and booth number.
Advertisers
At some National College Fair programs, NACAC partners with select media companies to produce advertising and promotional pieces. For many of the National College Fair programs, this includes the locator guide that is distributed at the fair that lists what exhibitors are in attendance. The contact information of registered exhibitors is shared with these media partners so that they may contact them regarding possible advertising opportunities within these promotional pieces. Registered exhibitors are not required to purchase advertising space and approved media partners are always listed on the individual fair webpage (under the âExhibitor Informationâ tab).
