Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
NACAC continues to make strides to be a diverse, equitable, and inclusive association. For the first time in NACAC’s history, a director of diversity, equity, and inclusion has been appointed to further lead the association’s DEI efforts.
NACAC has launched the association’s first-ever Antiracist Education Institute and provided DEI training for both the NACAC Board of Directors and NACAC staff. These actions are not meant to check a box and be performative, but rather to create an association where individuals, regardless of background, feel welcome, seen, and heard.
This work is ever-evolving and we look forward to expanding our DEI efforts and providing support, resources, and programming to our members.
